Are you an experienced Quality professional with experience in leading a team of Quality Inspectors within a manufacturing environment We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Coordinator to join a global plastic packaging manufacturer based in Palmers Green near Tottenham, London.This is a permanent role with a salary of £35k per annum working Monday to Friday 7am-4pm plus excellent benefits including 6% contributory pension, 25 days annual leave and 3x life assurance!As Quality Coordinator reporting into the Operations Manager, you will lead and manage the quality function at this client site ensuring that all products meet customer specifications. You will manage a team of 4 Quality Inspectors working on a site with a total of 50 employees.You will coordinate, motivate, control and direct the team to meet customer needs, ensuring a high level of communication and engagement with the team to improve quality and decrease customer and consumer concerns. You will have responsibility for maintainingQC, facilities and equipment are to the required standard for tracking and calibrating.Visual assessment, measurement and functional testing of products will be carried out ensuring non conformance is controlled. You will investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions and carry out internal audits adhering to HACCP and FoodSafety Standard FSSC22000.We are keen to hear from applicants with previous experience in leading a quality team within a manufacturing environment.
