Are you a quality professional from a lab/ quality background within an FMCG environment Do you have experience of using measuring equipment A global and award winning packaging organization requires a Shift Quality Inspector to work from their site near Tottenham/ Wood Green area of London. Real progression opportunities on offer!This is a permanent role working continental shifts, 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off (6am-6pm/ 6pm-6am) with a salaryof £25k per annum plus free parking, 6% pension, life assurance, generous annual leave entitlement and More!As Shift Quality Inspector you will report into the Quality Manager, working closely with 3 other Quality Inspectors, and Quality Coordinator. You will be responsible for ensuring the bottles produced are of the highest quality and meet customerspecifications. All products are plastic bottles in a high variety of different shapes and sizes for various high profile customers across the UK. Your role as Shift Quality Inspector will involve carrying out visual quality checks on products coming off the production line, as well as the measurement and validation of products using vernier calipers, magna mikes, compression tests andoperating CMM within the lab. You will complete internal audits ensuring non-conformances are recorded and appropriate action is taken. We are keen to hear from applicants with experience within a quality or lab environment at Inspector or Technician level from a FMCG, plastics or packaging background. You will be able to read drawings and schematics with good IT skills. Use of measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, CMM with high attention to detail in a testing environment is required. Any knowledge of HACCP, or Food Safety training would be advantageous.
