Quality Assurance Officer (Assessment & Progression)£36,060 to £40,750 inc LW per annum and dependent on experiencePermanent, Full-timeRef: GS612We are a prestigious, specialist higher education institution with taught degree awarding powers, looking foran experienced higher education professional to manage the Schools degree-level assessment processes.The role holders duties will be varied and wide ranging covering the entire assessment life cycle from the creation of modules on the student record systemto receive marks, to the production of degree certificates.The role holder will be located within a busy, hardworking, and friendly Registry team working under the Assistant Registrar (Quality Assurance); the role holder will also work collaboratively withstaff in departmental offices.The successful applicant will need to have direct administrative experience of UK higher education assessment processes and a sound knowledge and understanding of UK quality frameworks. Strong IT skills with experience of usinga higher education student record system [preferably SITS, TRIBAL], effective communication skills in speech and writing, a high level of numeracy, and a commitment to customer service are also essential.
