This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional to contribute to the direction and quality of work undertaken by the Macquarie internal audit team. Your responsibilities will include performing quality assurance reviews for the global Internal Audit Team and assist with enhancing and delivering updates to the internal audit methodology. You will have the opportunity to develop and coach the internal audit team on methodology related matters and on the key development areas identified from the quality assurance reviews; working towards continuous improvement and shared success. We are looking for candidates that have strong internal audit experience, audit practice or related assurance function expertise within financial services. The ability to work as part of a team and relationship management skills will be important to the success of this role. Strong communication skills are required, including the ability to explain methodology, execution requirements, with the underlying risk-basedrationale, and influence where required. Whilst the role is based in London, you would be joining a team that is centrally managed from Sydney. Minimal travel is expected.
