We have a comprehensive understanding of this challenging but highly rewarding sector, this enable us to place the most suitable candidates with clients and find the best opportunities for candidates.We are advertising this fantastic opportunity onbehalf of a local authority in Flintshire who are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to be part of an experienced looked after childrens team.Job Requirements: Strong understanding of working with Child Protection, Children in Care, Looked afterChildren. Managing your own caseload with varying levels of complexity ensuring that children placed in the care of the council have all their emotional, educational, and social needs met. To develop, and co-ordinate plans to fully support Adopters/Carers.Engage other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies in the delivery of services. Comply with the statutory obligations and departmental policing and procedures. To monitor and evaluate care and support plans and making sure there in line with localauthority processes and legal requirements. To establish, develop and maintain professional relationships through direct casework, supervision, with the aim that the individuals identified needs are metCandidate Requirements: Degree in relevant professionalor equivalent qualification e.g. Certificate of Qualification in Social Work or Diploma in Social Work. Previous experience of working in LAC. Able to undertake high quality assessments, reviews and support plans for individuals. Comfortable when requiredto work under pressure, manage their time flexibly, intelligently and under multiple demands. Valid, full driving licence is desirable. Eligibility to work in the UK. SWE Registered.
