Lead QA Engineer - City of London - Fintech - £80,000 - £85,000 + Excellent Benefits with remote working Overview: Our client are a leading global Fintech who are growing aggressively and looking for a QA lead to join their growing team. Responsibilities:• Responsible for building and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks. • Provide feedback on how the systems/code can be designed or can be implemented to make it testable. • Have a clear view of what to test and where to test. Should I test at UI, API/Services or at unit level Clear understanding of test Pyramid. • Confident in collaborating with the Technical Team to ensure requirements are understood and work closely with the Business Analyst and end customers • To take an active role across the business, particularly with Story definition and comprehensive testing of stories and performing automation on regression test cases. • Be a proactive member of the team when it comes to releases and production defects. • Experience in managing UAT and comfortable working with Business Stakeholders. • Experience in manual testing for web based applications and desktop applications. • Hands on with TDD, BDD and Agile. Experienced Required: • Minimum 10 years experience testing business critical applications • 3 years of experience leading Test teams in a fast paced environment • Experience in writing scripts for test automation • Selenium or similar test automation tool experience • Rich experience in API Automation and Manual Testing (have used Postman, Fiddler, Chrome Dev tools) • Worked in an Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environment • Written extensive tests using the selenium web driver • Experience using Cucumber beneficial • ISTQB Certified Tester • Experience using VSTS, TFS, TeamCity beneficial • Experience on Cloud based technologies is preferred Package: •£80,000 - £85,000 Basic Salary • Generous Annual Bonus • £3k Training Budget • Stakeholder pension total of 15% • Annual pay review• Private health• Excellent benefits package.Lead QA Engineer - City of London - Fintech - £80,000 - £85,000 + Excellent Benefits with remote working
