Job Description

QA Automation Test Engineer London (Flexible working)£40,000-£45,000 + benefits We have recently partnered with a new client in London who currently seeks an experience QA Automation Test Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. You will have the opportunity to work on next generation products and services.The QA Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for creating and implementing new automation test strategies across the business and developing and performing a range of test suites. You will also provide technical advice and assurance on the wider application of test automation solutions at project level while supporting engineering teams throughout the delivery process.Experience and skills required:

  • 3-5 years experience in Automation Testing writing your own test scripts
  • In depth knowledge of an object orientated language such as Java, C# or Ruby
  • Working with BDD using Cucumber (Serenity desired)
  • Following Agile (Scrum & Kanban) practices
  • Experience with open source tools such as Selenium
  • Understanding of DevOps cultures and approaches
  • Experience testing Web APIs using automation tools such as SoapUI, PostMan
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling and build pipeline
  • The ability to coach, mentor and lead and small team
  • Additional requirements:
  • Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
  • Eligible to under-go security vetting checks
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
