Job Description

My client is a leading high-frequency trading firm located in the heart of London, committed to the design and deployment of sophisticated trading algorithms that optimize performance in the financial markets. The team is filled with highly skilled individualsfrom diverse backgrounds who collaborate to achieve cutting-edge technological feats in real-time trading environments.We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and enhancing our trading infrastructure and algorithms to improve execution speed and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, quick learner,and committed to continuous improvement.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize low-latency trading algorithms.
  • Implement and maintain robust trading systems and tools to support all aspects of the trading process.
  • Collaborate with quants and traders to translate trading strategies into functional code.
  • Conduct performance analysis and optimize systems for speed and efficiency.
  • Ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of all trading systems.
  • Provide support for deployed systems, diagnosing and resolving issues rapidly.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in NumPy, Pandas, or similar libraries.
  • Understanding of multi-threaded applications and performance optimization.
  • Background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with real-time systems, preferably in finance or trading.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
