Python Developer – up to £40,000 We’re helping to scale the team for an Award winning cyber security company in London and looking for a Python Developer who are interested in learning plenty of new skills.In the role you will be working on multiple projects and helping to develop their new products and core services. Our client is looking for candidates with potential rather than being the finished article, so as long as you’ve worked with Python and have a passion to develop further in a growing company then that’s all they really require!About you…We’re looking for someone with a passion for development; any commercial experience would be great but this is a chance to learn and skill up in some very interesting areas.You’ll form a core part of the Agile team and though we aren’t looking for 100% of these skills, knowledge of the following would be great -* Python – this can be commercially or home experience; as long as you can code and give some good examples then that’s the main thing.* Python frameworks such as Flask, Django etc.* Web Technologies and Frameworks such as XPath/CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML.* Linux and Scripting technologies – it could be RedHat, Debian, CentOS with Bash, Perl, PHP – whatever you fancy!* Source code version systems such as GIT.It would also be great if you have any experience working database services (MySQL, MongoDB etc) and cloud hosting platforms (AWS) - As mentioned earlier, all we really want is someone who can develop strong, maintainable code with Python; everything else can be taught once you have joined the company.What you’ll be doing…You’ll be involved in various areas, developing code for web applications, structuring and analysing data and developing internal tools for the company. There’ll be the chance to support and enhance the current technical infrastructure, to use AWS as a cloud platform enhancing the company’s web collection capability and finding ways to improve all of the services, systems and code.About them…They are one of the leading names in their field and as it’s a small team, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast moving environment, keen to solve difficult problems and able to work / research independently.There is no micro-management and with a flat structure everyone’s opinions matter.
