Job Description

Role: Python DeveloperLocation: LondonContract: Initial 12MDaily Rate: PAYE competitiveKey Skills and Experience:

  • Expert-level core Python knowledge in a UNIX/Linux environment
  • Experience developing & designing complex, data-driven systems in Python, ideally with a Web / HTML5 component- Flask / Numpy / pandas / Plotly / Jupyter
  • General data science stack experience
  • Industry experience: Investment Banking
  • Agile
    • Skills Desired:
  • Track record working in front-office environment with trading and quantitative strategists-
  • Experience in equities / options / futures / ETF / structured products highly desirable-
  • Experience in fixed income products and data / FX / rates / bonds / CDS / CDX desirable
  • Full stack HTML5 Web development experience highly desirable
  • KDB knowledge or experience with another high-performance timeseries database
    • Additional Requirements:
  • Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
