Job Description

This role will be responsible for the purchasing process and forecasting of sustainable and eco-friendly products. Our client is a market leading FMCG packaging manufacturer and supplier. The successful candidate will have experience within a similar FMCGPurchasing/ Supply Chain Manager role, be analytical and hands-on, and able to work autonomously.Client DetailsOur client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of packaging. The are an innovative SME; who are dynamic and fast moving, with a multi-national reach.DescriptionKey responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing existing/new supplier relationships
  • Negotiating with suppliers and optimising existing contracts.
  • Calculating demand, placing purchase orders, ensuring optimum stock levels and availability.
  • Overseeing and managing shipments, inventory/supply of goods.
  • Controlling the budget for your category.
  • New product development.
ProfileThe successful candidate will have:
  • FMCG Supply Chain experience
  • Knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Analytical mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting.
Job OfferOn offer to the candidate:
  • c.£55,000 plus package
  • Hybrid working - 4 days per week from South London office
