Job Description

MLC Partners are working with a leading educational organisation to recruit an Purchase Ledger Lead on a 12 month contract. Reporting into a Head of Finance who champions personal development, the role joins a small organisation with a great culture to covera period of maternity leave.Main responsibilities include:

  • Accurate inputting of invoices onto the finance system.
  • Preparing payment runs and overseeing supplier records.
  • Resolve queries from a mixture of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the finance inbox and refer queries to the relevant parties.
The successful candidate will be:
  • A good people person with excellent customer service skills, able to support individual suppliers who often are not finance experts.
  • Experienced working in a stand-alone role as the go to person for purchase ledger enquiries.
  • An organised individual, ideally with experience of Great Plains and SAP Concur.
