We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual, preferably a qualified teacher, to join a growing and popular Public Services curriculum area. The successful candidate will teach on a range of units on Level 1 - 3 programmes in Uniformed Public Services, Policing level 3 and the Access to Higher Education Diploma. The topics may include equality, diversity and inclusion, legal systems, tele-communications, preparing for a career in the uniformed service, understanding discipline in the services, security procedures, volunteering and health and safety units.We are also very keen to speak to a qualified sports teacher, who is willing to adapt their skills to meet our needs. You would potentially be teaching on a range of topics which include developing aspects of physical fitness for entry to the Uniformed Services, developing leadership skills and mental, physical well -being and sport and adventurous activities in the Uniformed Services.There will be regular opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities including outdoor activities and fitness training. Some experience of working in one of the public services or local government will be advantageous to this post but not essential.
