Due to continued growth throughout Europe, they now have an exciting and immediate opening for a Public Sector Sales Director to be based in the UK.As a Public Sector Sales Director, you will: * In this new position, work as a Player Manager leading a small but growing sales function* Develop and role out a Public Sector sales strategy* Manage a full and complex Public Sector sales cycle through to close* Advise on and guide through framework agreements* Develop and nurture strong customer relationships* Develop sales strategies with and for partners* Keep accurate and up to date reports and sales forecasts* Work with EMEA based colleagues* Become the resident Public Sector expertTo be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and traits: * Multi-year Public Sector sales experience (Education and/or Health preferred)* Telco or Unified Comms experience would be highly advantageous* Demonstrable ability in running full and complex sales cycles * Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets* Sales leadership* Highly motivated, eager to win and determination to produce results* Deep understanding of Public Sector accounts* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills* Skilled in CRM management* Energy, passion, drive and a consultative nature required* Commercially awareThe successful Public Sector Sales Director can expect: * A base salary circa 65-70k* An uncapped bonus* Generous benefits package* 7k car allowanceThe Certus Recruitment Group is an established and experienced specialist consultancy providing sales, marketing and IT recruitment services to the business community throughout the UK, Europe and Australia.
