This post is to support the development of effective and evidence-based public health intelligence. The post holder will provide input into the process of understanding health needs within the population, addressing health inequalities, determining priorities for action and actively disseminating the findings of the wide range of analysis. The post holder will lead the development and production of a number of statistical / information services and provide intelligence relating to public health and the wider determinants of health within the local authority. The post holder will also provide expert advice on epidemiology, health intelligence, statistics and statistical techniques, survey and questionnaire design and other areas of research. The post-holder will be required to develop and maintain a working relationship with a range of staff within the public health team, across all the health organisations, primary care health providers and local authorities.Eden Brown Synergy is an equal opportunities employer.
