We believe - through working together with partners across the sector - we can and mustgrow and diversify the Olympic and Paralympic sport fanbase, building more meaningful relationships with public audiences and creating opportunities for greater depth of engagement on a daily basis, not just when the Games take place.Were searching for anexceptional candidate who can bring together leading sporting organisations across the UK to collaboratively build an ever-more engaged, more diverse and more active fanbase for Olympic and Paralympic Sport. Youll be responsible for shaping future publicengagement plans, working hand-in-hand with partners across the sector, creating a common purpose and shared vision. Well expect you to build a robust business case and to secure the vital continued investment needed to deliver on our public engagement ambitions.Youll combine visionary and strategic thinking with insights, analytics and an inquisitive approach, to ensure we build an innovative, sustainable public engagement plan for the future of Olympic and Paralympic sport.This is a newly created specialist role,reporting directly to the Director, Engagement & External Affairs. Youll be part of our Engagement and External Affairs department, able to draw on support from colleagues who offer experience across digital, media, stakeholder engagement, integrated campaignsand social impact. Youll be expected to work directly with this Directors Team alongside the Board of Trustees and external partner organisations like National Governing Bodies (NGBs), the BOA (Team GB) and BPA (ParalympicsGB) too.Youll be responsible forensuring the Olympic and Paralympic sport movement collaborates, co-creates and innovates to deliver a step-change in fan engagement, helping us to create the greatest decade of extraordinary sporting moments which can reach, inspire and unite more peopleeach and every day.About UK SportAt UK Sport, our purpose is to lead high performance sport to enable extraordinary moments that enrich lives.
