We have an opportunity for a Public Affairs Manager to help us with our public affairs work, specifically building and maintaining strong relationships with public affairs stakeholders (e.g. parliaments, governments, wider political networks, and civilsociety) and related work in furtherance of our public policy objectives.This role requires a well-organised candidate, able to react to short or urgent deadlines, with excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to research papersand briefings. Youll be a good team player working with several members of staff within and outside of our Public Affairs team, plus the ability to negotiate with key stakeholders. Youll need to demonstrate a commitment to the campaigning aims of HumanistsUK. Lobbying experience is essential in this role.Please note this is a 12-month maternity cover role.
