Prosecutions and Licensing Lawyer Locum contract, 3 months+ London, hybrid Up to £45 umbrella Exciting opportunity for an experienced Prosecutions and Licensing Lawyer to work within a well-established London Council. Our client is looking for a ProsecutionsLawyer with some local authority experience to join their London Borough Council. This role is offering an initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to be extended on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis with 1 compulsoryday in the office per week plus any court attendance. On offer is a competitive rate of up to £45 (umbrella rate) per hour. The role will include handling a caseload of prosecutions matters including, but not limited to: * Planning * Education * EnvironmentalProtection * Trading Standards * Environmental Housing issues There is also an expectation to attend occasional Licensing Sub-Committee Hearings and advocating in Magistrates Court. This role would be suited to a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executivewith previous experience working in local government as a Prosecutions Lawyer. The successful Prosecutions Lawyer will be joining a friendly and dynamic team, working on an interesting and diverse caseload.
