Job Description

SummaryEarn between £48,400 - £64,900* subject to experience. Our Head Office Property Department is strengthening their team and is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and analytical person determined to build a career in a challenging international environment to join the Property Data & Analysis Team asa Consultant. The rolehas the potential to create a big and long-lasting impact on the entire business, by building a future-proof infrastructure for efficient real-time reporting & analysis to influence key strategic decision making.What youll do

  • Working at a national strategic level to drive forward our expansion & portfolio management plans
  • Regular and Ad Hoc reporting and analysis on the portfolio, KPIs, Strategy, Profitability, ROIs, Turnover, Competitors etc
  • Creating property-specific data analysis and presentations for the UK & International Boards
  • Comprehensive planning of national investment budget, multi-year project planning for warehouse and store capacity, divestment forecasting and non-operational area strategy
  • Providing quality assurance and training for all our in-house property systems, as well as bug-fixing, testing and managing system rollouts
  • Providing support to Regional Property Offices on property systems and procedures
  • Being the main contact anchor between Lidl International, Head Office, Regional Property Offices and other Lidl departments/peers (regular liaison with all parties & levels)
  • Data plausibility checks (investigating quality & accuracy) and pursuing queries with Lidl International and Regional Property Offices
  • Building tools to support and streamline across the entire Property department
  • Understanding the company’s ‘bigger picture’ and the property role within the organisation as a whole
What youll need
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business
  • Confident in supporting executive management
  • Passion for working with numbers and data analysis tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude, and the ability to work on projects and solve problems independently
  • Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team, to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel)
  • Previous retail/property experience beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience in geographic information system (GIS) beneficial
  • Degree educated (2:2) in any discipline
  • Knowledge of the German language beneficial but not essential
