Job Description

Consider yourself an expert in the AST Property Management worldAre you keen to get exposure into Commercial Property Management and asset managementYour New Company:This successful Property Management and Investment company have grown their fully managed portfolio to 250 in the last 2 years. They are excellent at what they do and they live and breath customer service and knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for that next step within asset management.Your New Role:This is a Property Management role responsible for managing a mixed use portfolio of 250 units (60% AST Residential and 40% Commercial). Main duties include but do not limit too:

  • Giving excellent customer service across all 250 properties - being the main point of contact for tenants and landlords alike
  • Co-ordinating planned and reactive maintenance
  • Inventories - check ins and check outs and reporting that goes with this
  • Deposits - negotiating, releasing and renewing
  • Dealing with renewals
  • Managing development projects (refurbishments/conversions/new builds) including reviewing of detailed design and tender packages, contractor selection, and overseeing contractor until practical completion.
  • Overseeing and executing acquisitions and disposals
  • Preparing and coordinating planning applications with responsibility for issuing instructions to different professionals involved in the process.
  • Managing landlord/tenant litigation for both commercial and residential tenants. Managing other litigation matters.
    • About you:
  • You will have a minimum of 3 years experience within AST Property Management
  • You will be obsessed with improving the customer journey and put people at the heart of everything you do
  • Be pro-active, present and have the ability to think on your feet and resolve any problems that arise.
  • You will be detail orientated and confident in nature with exceptional communication skills
  • Knowledge of finance duties is desireable (a previous role within accounts would be ideal)
  • Knowledge of commercial property management and asset management is ideal but not essential.
