Job Description

Do you have proven experience of property maintenance and repairs Are you looking for the next step in your career with a leading local service provider If the answer is YES, this could be the ideal for you.A forward-thinking Housing Association is looking to welcome a Property Inspector to join their busy office in London. This is a full-time position working alongside a team.What will I be responsible forJoining our team as a Property Inspector, you will take responsibility for:

  • Conducting viewings of the properties
  • Organising and carrying out quality inspections on properties
  • Preparing and producing work specifications
  • Producing property reports
  • Taking meter readings
  • Face to face, written and telephone liaison with clients, contractors and co-workers
  • Diary management
  • Photography of properties
  • Signing tenants to properties
  • Checking HMO certification
  • Other ad hoc duties required by the management
  • Could this be the ideal role for meAs our ideal Property Inspector, you would have some property repairs experience and ideally be looking for career progression. To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Ideally from a similar background within the Property Industry/Housing Environment
  • Knowledge/skill of other basic maintenance work
  • Must hold a driving license
  • Have the ability to manage and co-ordinate own diary
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have strong an accurate eye for detail
  • IT skills - computer literate
  • Work as part of a team
