Job Description

Project Support Administration and Events roleTemporary position (potential to extend or permanency) Hourly rate £22.60 Mon – Friday HybridLocation Central LondonUrgent role - interviews to take place immediatelyOverviewAn education focus national institution/ organisation are looking for an experienced temporary administrator to assist and support Government Relations & Workforce Policy Team, with a professional and confidential administrative support senior team members,duties will include the maintenance of systems and organisation, minuting and administration of meetings and assistance with events. The ideal candidate will have experience of events organisation - working with and supporting senior colleagues, dealing with stakeholders, organising meetings, minute taking, diary management, creating PowerPoint presentations and using survey monkey. Youwill also need the flexibility to switch between tasks as priorities change whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all tasks. You will be well organised and efficient with strong IT MS Office skills. Summary Ability to work pro-actively and independently, whilst also contributing as an effective team member;Good coordination, planning and organisational skills – you will be required to assist with organisational arrangements for a variety of events and meetings;High standard of attention to detail and accuracy;Good numeracy skills and ability to operate a budget management system;Ability to manage committee work including servicing committees - the preparation of agenda, note-taking and drafting accurate and concise reports;Good administrative and office skills – strong typing skills with a high standard of accuracy. Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite, together with any other IT applications necessary for performance of the role eg. database, budget management system,electronic filing/records/data management systems.NB* There maybe some domestic travel as required.This is an urgent role; interview selection will take place in the next week with a view to starting soon after.If you have the skills and experience required, please submit your CV now for immediate review.
