Job Description

Overview of the FunctionThe Data Transformation team drives data governance strategy for the firms data and the adoption of consistent standards and capabilities. Overview of the TeamSituated within the Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO), the Data Privacy, Use and Records Management team leads the programs focused on:

  • effectively and efficiently managing data that is subject to Privacy requirements globally
  • effectively and efficiently managing records, ensuring that we both retain and dispose of data and documents as required
Within this context, the Implementation & Developments team manages Enterprise implementation projects and also monitors and reports on Data transformation activities relating to Privacy, Use and Records Management. Role / Position OverviewThe Project Manager takes responsibility for individual projects, managing and driving activities to ensure successful and timely completion of projects to achieve the stated goals. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specified projects ensuring consistency with Citi project management governance. Reporting Line: Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Employ Citi standard project processes, procedures, and methods for project delivery, including execution of change, dependency and risk management as part of plan monitoring
  • Develop and manage the project scope statement, project plan and other associated project artifacts.
  • Manage recurring meetings within the project, establish agendas, coordinate materials, track action items and associated impact to project plan.
  • Prepare communications regarding the status of the project, including driving escalations and developing project status reporting.
  • Partner with project sponsor and other senior executives to drive project execution.
  • Partner with other teams inside and outside of the ECDO to drive project execution.
  • Produce and maintain weekly and monthly operating/status reports, as required
  • Identify, document, and understand project dependencies
  • Identify key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition.
  • Manage the budgeting and financial reporting processes for the project
  • Develop and execute a stakeholder engagement and communication plan
  • Create highly impactful presentations for various senior management meetings
Qualifications
  • 6 to 8 years of direct project management experience in a Financial organization
  • Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management and large project teams.
  • Proven experience reporting to senior stakeholders, including roadmap, status, risks and issues
  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills.
  • Very strong skills needed in PowerPoint to create meaningful presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Able to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops with a range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to act independently and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Candidate should be analytical, flexible, detail-oriented and collaborative
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
  • Bachelors degree required.
