Job Description

Project Manager - Social Housing Refurbishment: EWI & FRALondon £60K - £70K (DOE) + Car Allowance / Car + BenefitsDo you have a proven track record of delivering £multi-million high rise social housing projects including Fire Risk Assessment works (FRA) - Fire Doors, Fire Stopping, Sprinkler and Security SystemsDo you have experience of EWI/Rainscreen/Cladding/FacadesDo you have experience of delivering these types of projects under Design and Build term on time and within budgetHowells Solutions are working with a leading social housing / regeneration contract to recruit a proactive Project Manager to deliver £multi million social housing refurbishment schemes, focusing on externals / EWI and Fire Risk Assessment / FRA works to tenanted housing association properties across London. You will be able to programme projects including the sequencing of works using Microsoft Project or ASTA planning software.All projects are part of externals and FRA programmes including window replacements, roofing renewals, fire doors, fire alarms installations, sprinkler system renewals and installations. Properties are all High Rise Tower Blocks up to 20 floors per block.This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Senior Project Manager with a determined and motivated attitude. You will be instrumental managing multiple contracts and leading a team of Site Supervisors, Site Managers, and multi-disciplined trades men. Daily Resposnibilities of the Successful Projects Manager will inlude:

  • Manage all day to day operations of the capital improvement programmes.
  • Identifying discrepancies and taking appropriate actions, reporting back to management when this occurs
  • Work closely and meet with client and stakeholders on site to survey and complete property condition reports.
  • Developing policies & procedures to support the achievement of new projects
  • Site visits to undertake inspections of works and/or liaise with trade operatives, tenants, contractors or statutory bodies to resolve any issues and ensure high satisfaction is achieved
  • Maintain Health and Safety and environmental management.
  • Drawing up construction phase safety plans and ensuring the safe delivery set out within each plan.
  • Understand and manage all client expectations maintaining good working relations.
  • Complete project handover and ensure everything is defect/snag free
