Project Manager Media platform migration projects

Job Description

Our client, a world-leader in the way organizations deliver online video experiences and working closely with some of the worlds best knowledge media, broadcasting , not-for-profit and publishing groups in over 60 countries, is currently looking for a smart, experienced, ambitious and energetic Project Manager with a flair for managing digital media projects , teams and deliverables. The position is a Fixed Term Contract for 3 months and will be remotely based until September due to the current context.You should ideally be available to start in July.As a Project Manager you should be experienced in managing key projects for large, well known clients, ideally within media groups, on an international scale. You will own the client relationship for a major SaaS media platform migration project for 4 key UK clients, currently transitioning to our clients media platform. You should be experienced in orchestrating and leading client projects using Agile methodologies, shaping and defining the project scope, timelines and effort, leading the project team to successful delivery against plan. You will play a key role in the clients success through your dedication and commitment to this high quality project. Responsibilities *Risk assessment , tracking and mitigation planning.*Scope and budget control, change request management.*Client roadmap workshops and requirements gathering.*Coordination of internal stakeholders across our clients organisation in the UK and the US.*Communications planning and follow-up.*Regular status reporting.*Frequent liaison with third party development teams and vendors.*Continuous expectation setting *Accountable for contractual and commercial obligations.Qualifications, skills and experience required*Several years experience in Technical Project Management teams or Professional Services teams in support or delivery related positions.*Experience in planning , organising and executing projects of varying levels of complexity, delivering them within timeframe and budget.*Ability to facilitate requirements definition , project planning and gap analysis.* Significant Experience in Agile PM.*Extensive experience in managing clients, third party vendors, and developers dispersed on a global level.*Experience managing projects involving multiple parties ( $ 1 M + budget or local equivalent)*Experience managing software platform transitions ideally on SaaS based platforms in the Media sector or similar. *Ability to manage multiple small to medium sized projects concurrently.*Strong prioritisation and communications skills.*Able to work from the Central London office from September for one month( final part or the project) *Understanding of Fixed Price project planning and delivery is advantageous.*Digital Media or Video industry landscape expertise is preferred ( OTT, AVOD, SVOD, etc….)In return our client can offer a highly varied and stimulating FTC offering excellent exposure to a best-of-breed SaaS platform leading the way in the online video sector.
