Are you a fluent French speaking Project Manager Are you passionate about human rights and available for 21 hours per week for 5 months Prospectus are delighted to be partnering with an outstanding Human Rights NGO to appoint their new Project Manager to be focused on the Forced Child Begging programme.You will be responsible for overseeing the management of selected Africa projects, as well as supporting the implementation of other projects that fall under the Forced Child Begging programme. Whilst the role will focus initially on the management of the projects in Senegal, Nigeria, and Niger, with a growing programme portfolio, the role will also contribute to the development of new projects or initiatives and maintain a positive relationship with existing and new donors. You will work in close coordination with in-country partners and donors, as well as working across the organisation with members of the wider Programmes and Advocacy, Fundraising and Communications and Finance and Admin teams.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of project activities which includes coordinating research and advocacy, evaluations, drafting written materials (e.g. terms of references and briefing papers), monitoring project progress against work plans, logic frameworks and preparation and management of consultants. The role will also involve keeping up to date on relevant anti-slavery trends and anti-slavery movements, analysing research and data sets, contributing to scoping and making recommendations for expanding the Forced Child Begging work in existing and new project countries.To be successful, you will be a proficient French speaker and an exceptional Project/Programme Manager able to work to full capacity from day one. You will have a proven track record of success in a programmatic role, a flair for Monitoring and Evaluation, and the capability of maintaining and nurturing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders including donors and local partners. Alongside experience of project management, you will understand slavery and/or marginalised groups, global human rights issues, and child protection strategies. You will have outstanding communications skills and will have bigger picture approach when dealing with own or departmental activities/tasks.
