Job Description

Project Manager, Cyber Security, Professional Services, City, London Project Manager required to work for a Law Firm based in the City of London. However, due to Covid-19, this will initially be based from home. It is a 12 month fixed term contract and could potentially go permanent at the end of the duration.We need a seasoned, experienced Project Manager and you must have come from a Professional Services background. Legal IT would be preferred but not essential.Project in the pipeline are as follows:

  • A new cyber security detection and response system (CrowdStrike);
  • Microsoft Exchange to M365 Migration (follow-on from Teams);
  • Cyber vulnerabilities (148k) remediation;
  • The renewal of the London office Canon MFD fleet;
  • A new low code platform;
  • The replacement of ageing laptops worldwide;
  • Finance PMS upgrade (Elite 3E);
  • An upgrade of Intapp Open
    • Key skills and experience required
  • At least 5 years experience of successful project delivery in a legal or comparable organisation.
  • Practitioner level or equivalent project management qualification from a recognised body, e.g. Axelos or PMI.
  • Change Management qualification from a recognised body e.g. Prosci, would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams in a matrix-environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of liaising with and influencing up to C-suite and Partners.
  • Able to effectively translate and accurately communicate technology matters to senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to manage stakeholders’ expectations when delivering complex change to deadlines.
  • Excellent, pragmatic approach to risk and issue management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of business analysis techniques.
  • Professional manner with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.#
  • Experience of using Microsoft Project, or an equivalent tool, to plan, manage and track projects.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Familiarity with legal IT systems would be beneficial
