Ready 4 Recruitment are recruiting on the behalf of a nationwide Construction Company involved in the refurbishment and development of buildings across the UK. They are Building Envelope Contractors, specialising in all types of roofing, cladding, rainscreen cladding and curtain walling across a wide range of sectors. The company is also involved in internal fit-outs and asbestos removal and have delivered numerous high profile construction projects for our Blue-Chip Clients.To support their continued growth in line with our Strategic Development Plans, they are currently recruiting Project Managers at our London Office. This role offers the opportunity for the candidates to progress to a Senior Management position in their growing London office, as well as commanding exceptional earnings potential.With a proven record of successful Project Management within rainscreen, curtain walling, cladding or general construction, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of the operational and construction activities on-site to ensure that the project runs to schedule and to internal budgets; to find solutions to problems as they arise whilst delivering commercial profitability, health & safety compliance, programme integrity and quality standards.Main responsibilities of the role :You will be responsible for Project Planning and Operational Delivery of projects.To appoint, manage, lead, monitor and motivate the Site Teams.To promote, implement and maintain Best Operating Practice on siteCo-ordinate with our Design & Technical Managers and be involved in the procurement of quality materials.Allocate, control and monitor the efficient and effective use of the material and plant resources to ensure that the project is executed in line with the client’s agreed programme and quality expectations.To assess areas of risk and develop Safe Systems of work to create a Safe & Healthy working environment on-site.To ensure that the companys Systems and Procedures are implemented in line with our ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 accredited Integrated Management System.Communicate and build positive long-term successful working relationships with our clients.To succeed in this role you will have:Ideally educated to HND or Degree level. A Project Management or Construction Degree would be advantageous, but not essential.High standard of general literacy, numeracy and business acumen.IT literate; proficiency using key software systems including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.Minimum of five years of operations experience within the construction industry or related industry. Good broad-based understanding of all operational areas of the business, including design, estimating, QS and construction;Knowledge and experience of production scheduling methods and work processes;Excellent people skills and experience of managing or supervising Site Personnel, including subcontractors.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to communicate both written and verbally at all levels - site personnel, client and board level.Excellent working knowledge of health and safety regulations and sound practical experience of implementing and monitoring safe systems of work etc.;Product and construction systems knowledge essential together with an in-depth, day-to-day working knowledge of the technical aspects of the products, plant and machinery the company uses;their vision is to become the first choice provider of full envelope solutions; by investing in our people and continuing to improve our skills within our field of expertise, they will be known for their commitment to safety, quality and sustainability for the benefit of our clients.In addition to a highly competitive salary and benefits package, they provide continuing learning and development opportunities within an excellent professional work environment.Fantastic career advancement opportunities Required skills
