Role OverviewThis is a Project Manager role that sits within the Global Technology Change organisation. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering critical projects within the technology organisation that will enable the transformation and growth of TP and ICAPbusinesses. Focus for this role will be on the Credit business area, therefore at least a basic understanding of credit derivatives and trading platforms is required. Some experience with sell-side, inter-dealer brokerage would be helpful. It is expected that the chosen candidate will be an excellent communicator, a self-starter and can deliver into complex environments, keeping all IT and Business stakeholders apprised of progress, risks and issues where appropriate. Role ResponsibilitiesThe focus of this role will be working across the main delivery portfolios for the change organisation; transformation, regulatory and change the business (CTB) as well as supporting run the business (RTB) activities as required. Job duties and requirements include;

  • Provide concise and timely reporting to the PMO Office
  • Manage the TP ICAP deliverables against the project plan
  • Manage the TP ICAP SME resource allocation to the project
  • Manage the relationship with all internal external stakeholders
  • Provide coordination between cross functional departments included but not limited to Technology.
  • Manage work stream scope and change control
  • Manage the RAID register
  • Issue resolution and escalation as required to the project sponsor.
  • Adapt quickly to learn the processes, systems and products of TP ICAP.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret data to ensure we correctly baseline the current state processes.
  • Ability to work with business SMEs as well as project and IT representatives.
  • Participation in design and build phases.
  • Facilitate workshops and working groups to elicit easily understandable outputs - quickly and effectively.
  • Production of user cases and provide support during User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work with business stakeholders (sponsors, business managers, broking staff and delivery teams) to deliver technology change.
  • Capture and agree requirements, estimate resource effort / costs and document benefits to seek appropriate levels of approval.
  • Manage the project against the agreed plan, providing and updating weekly project status
  • Follow up on outstanding actions with project team / operational managers.
  • Close the projects, produce closure reports and agree and assign follow on actions.
  • Support the strategic business and change management objectives.
  • Organise meetings, setting agendas and taking minutes as necessary.
  • Fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the technology integration
Experience / CompetencesEssential
  • Strong Project Manager experience, within Financial Services
  • Knowledge of the change management lifecycle and experience using change.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of all Microsoft applications especially, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Held budget accountability for projects / programmes over £500k plus
  • Ability to work across global teams in multiple time zones.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Service oriented, adaptable and resilient
  • Results oriented with personal accountability
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of management of TP ICAP
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to articulate problems with a mind-set of simplifying and automating
