This public sector client is undertaking a long-term critical technology programme (18 months to 2 years) and requires a contract Project Manager focussed on Business Capability & Architecture, with one or more technical/architecture domains (data, technologyand/or applications) as well as Business Architecture or Business Analysis experience, with proven experience for managing technology/data projects up to a value of £10M in a large, complex environments. £500 to £550 a day Inside IR35. 12 Month contract withscope to extend. Hybrid working (2 days a week in Central London). You will have proven ability to develop Business Architecture models incl. Modelling, Business Capability Mapping and Value Stream Modelling, Target Operating Models and Business Motivational Modelling. Key responsibilities for the Project Manager (Business Capability & Architecture) include:• Detailed plan to deliver operating model definition and transformation activities • Analysis of the As-Is Operating Model • Develop a To-Be RUC Operating Model, including: Principles and Constraints, SWOT & PESTLE; Scorecard & KPIs; Detailed Process Maps; Organisational Map and Numbers; Financial Model; Contract Management; Business Motivation Model; Capacity and Capability MaturityHeat Map; Value Chains and Streams; Concept of Operations Document • Detailed plan that translates operating model requirements into a transformation and adoption plan to implement the to-be design • Manage implementation of the To-Be Operating Model according to the plan. Key knowledge skills for the Project Manager include: • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and influence people at all levels across the organisation and outside, including negotiating, successfully facilitating joint decision making and clearly convey concepts, proposals andanalysis to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Proven ability to develop Business Architecture models including, but not limited to, Business Modelling, Business Capability Mapping and Value Stream Modelling, Target Operating Models and Business Motivational Modelling. • An adept modeller/visualiser able to articulate complex concepts into effective mediums from which multiple stakeholders can derive clear direction and points of integration. • Proven ability to manage and influence senior and external stakeholders in a delivery capacity. • Proven ability to manage projects and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand different perspectives and positively influence decision-making.
