Project Manager – Benchmark – Investment BankingA Global Investment Bank are currently looking for a Project Manager that must have expert knowledge within Benchmark, this is a 6 month contract based in the City of London (WFH - TBD), the daily rate for the role is up to £700+ per day via an umbrella company (PAYE also available).SummaryIn charge of coordinating the Sonia transition for the bank in the UK within the Benchmark projectScope: Financing & Cash Management ActivitiesKey responsibilitiesIn terms of regulatory matters• Comply with and coordinate (with the relevant Teams) any regulatory request (qualitative/quantitative)• In charge of all communication with the UK regulator and other governing bodies• In charge of regulatory watchIn terms of governance and communication• In charge of The Benchmark London Committee (monthly basis)• Enhance if needed local project Benchmark Governance (ToR) – terms of reference• Escalation of any concern to the relevant Committees (including London committees and Head Office committees)• In charge of strong communication to stakeholders (inc FO, BO, AMO and support functions)• Regularly update financing metiers with new benchmark requirements (e.g. adjustment spreads over Libor in new contracts post Q1 2021) KPI to be put in place to follow the project (including inventory) as well as the follow up on PRA requests and submissionsIn terms of support to new deal origination• Ensure that all new financing/re financing/amendment will respect guidelines from the BMR project team (inc regarding fallback clauses, adjustment spread)• Manage the coordination with BO, FO, A&MO, and other functions (inc Finance) regarding the IT challenges to adapt BO systems (Isis / Combo / LMT…) to the new computation of compounded RFR in arrears. If necessary and validated, may play a role in the potentially semi-automated workaround process which may be implemented pending the target solution.In terms of support to new repapering• In charge of monitoring the inventory of to-be-repapered deals and the progress of the repapering of contracts of the different business lines (ITB, DOD, SFI)In addition, the candidate:• Will coordinate for all Sonia markets-related matter impacting the bank with the Market Sector Director in charge of the RFR transition for GMD• Will functionally report to the Financing Sector Director based in Paris for the financing and Cash Management activity• Entertain regular communication with the Program Director as well as Financing & Cash Management Sector Director• Will provide regular update via presentations to the operational sponsors as well as London management (including ICC Internal Control Committee and Management Committee)KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSExperience Required:• Strong Project Management experience in the financial sector• Benchmark regulation• Financing / investment bankCompetencies Required:• Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Access• Skills & Knowledge Requirements• Excellent analytical skills• Ability to work under pressure and to demanding timeframe• Good interpersonal skills• Ability to communicate clearly and easily, including in writing to all levels within the organization• Rigorous / attention to detail• Quality orientedIf you are a Project Manager with excellent Benchmark knowledge please do apply
