Job Description

The Role:The project manage role consists of managing construction projects from outlet to completion on all aspects of construction projects. The role involves working collaboratively with a varied of construction professionals and stakeholders to allow projectsto be delivered safely on time, and to budget whilst ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.Key accountabilities:

  • Preparation of appointment documents for consultants
  • Produce the master programme and monitor progress
  • Support in producing the procurement strategy report with clients / QS
  • Produce and undertake project governance
-Project directory-Arrange necessary meetings and workshops-Support in value engineering review and workshops.-issue logs-Weekly reports for stakeholders-Risk Register
  • Support on Tendering and procurement of the project, Subject to contract type.
  • Support finance team on monthly reporting to lenders.
  • Reporting to the finance team on any budget changes
  • Redact all contracts terms and conditions as per JCT or NCR2
  • Negotiation with contractors to establish budgets
  • Manage and support the project team on snagging inspection
  • Take personal responsibility for health and safety of self and others by working within the health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Support technical decisions.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required of my role.
Skills Required.
  • Four years plus experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to deliver small to medium size projects up to £8 million.
  • Excellent technical knowledge.
  • A client- centric outlook with a focus on the delivery of targets, quality and deadlines, meeting LPV objectives.
  • Working knowledge of CDM and construction health and safety.
  • Ability to deliver a project from inception through to final account.
Salary: £35 -40k Depending on experience.
