Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager Job Location: Midlands, London and UK travel required Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 DOE The Company:-Our client is a well-established asset and investment management company, head office is in London with managed sites throughout the UK. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive,forward thinking company with exciting future business growth plans.Your duties will include:

  • Explore development and value add initiatives within the property portfolio
  • Developing clear project briefs to align with needs of the Client.
  • Recommend/Advise on the best procurement route, select and appoint contractors and professional team as appropriate.
  • Provide project direction, focus and management of project team.
  • Attend weekly design/site meetings as required. (Regional UK travel a requirement)
  • Challenge all operational, architectural, servicing, structural and construction assumptions to ensure value for money and design goals are being achieved.
  • Ensure progress is being made in line with programme and budget.
  • Identify and manage issues to mitigate delays to the project
  • Implement and track any changes and obtain required approvals at each stage
  • Report regularly to the Client, stakeholders and internal team
  • Assist AM team with preparation of annual CAPEX budgets
Skills and experience required:
  • CIOB / RICS Qualified
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Manager with building refurbishments and major structural changes and improvements
  • Desire to provide the very best client service and exceed their expectations
  • Must be well organised and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Understand the importance of "attention to detail"
  • Proactive and a problem solver
  • You must be an excellent communicator both written and verbally
  • Be commercially aware
  • Able to negotiate
