Job Description

Maintenance Project ManagerOn behalf of a leading Arts organisation based in Central London, 2 Maintenance Project Managers are needed to work across 7 live sites, all based within a 5-minute walk of each other.Projects generally value between £50k - £250k and vary between M&E, Fabric repairs, Re-kitting Music Studios and more. Larger value capital projects will also be a part of this challenging role.The OrganisationThis is an internationally renowned Arts organisation spanning Theatre, Art, Music, Dance, Cinema and more. Its buildings and facilities have dedicated spaces for all these disciplines.These facilities are frequently open to the public as well as a range of performing arts professionals and artists. They also include an educational setting focused on performing arts.The RoleAs the Maintenance Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all projects across the 7 sites, sometimes with 10-15 project on going at the same time.You will have previous experience in managing maintenance and property-related projects from start to finish, managing stakeholders and contractors etc.Given the nature of these sites, there will sometimes be non-negotiable small windows of time to complete the project. Experience with working within tight schedules would therefore be beneficial.You will need to have a clear understanding and be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the full cycle of a project, including the managing of contracts and procurement.The Maintenance Project ManagerYou will be able to demonstrate;

  • Previous maintenance / building Project Management experience
  • Extensive experience of managing projects valued between £50k and £500k
  • Relevant M&E, full refurb, or fabric repair project experience
  • The ability to work to a deadline
  • Experience with Contract Management and Procurement
  • Managing projects within a Live Building
  • The ability to client manage and manage contractors efficiently
  • Be comfortable managing many projects at one time
