Job Description

An independent government regulatory organisation is looking to recruit a Project Manager to provide expert risk management advice to its staff, and to lead the incorporation of risk and benefits management strategies into its processes.Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Review and develop existing risk management and benefits management strategies, including plans to realise these.
  • Provide comprehensive advice and guidance to all staff on risk management and benefits realisation, including the sharing of insights with senior management on a quarterly basis.
  • Design and lead risks and benefits discovery workshops.
  • Undertake risk and benefits maturity assessments, assisting with other quality management operations where possible.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience.
  • Detailed understanding of project management methodologies and experience of developing risk and benefits management strategies.
  • Sophisticated communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, and the ability to influence senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding time management and project planning skills and the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
Salary and Details:
  • c£41,500 pro rata.
  • Full-time, 3-month fixed-term contract, with a possibility for extension.
  • Based in Central London office, with provision for remote working for part of the week.
