Job Description

LondonEnergy Ltd are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to support our current facility and satellite sites in and around North London.We operate the second largest waste management company in the UK, handling and processing nearly 750,000 tonnes of Londons waste every year. By processing household waste at our facility, we produce enough energy from waste to power 80,000 homes every yearand recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres.As our Technical Project Manager, you will plan the organisations programmes and projects, designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, whilst keeping stakeholders informed from start to finish.You will find that LondonEnergy adopts a very open operational style, so you will have full access to every area of the organisation and will participate in broad cross-functional discussions around how to get the best results for the business. We are anopen and inclusive organisation, so you will always know what the Companys objectives are and how we are progressing against our targets.Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for building, monitoring, analysing and reporting on Project Plans
  • Dependency Management within programme plans to ensure programme integration, identification of issues and suggestion of solutions
  • Ongoing plan consolidation
  • Provision of recommendations for key management reports from plans
  • Management of plan tracking and progress reporting
  • One to One planning support with key departmental managers in creating and maintaining fully resourced and meaningful project plans
  • Planning resource levels to smooth out resource overloads and future forecasting of resource
  • Provide reports to time and standard as directed by the Programme Manager, liaising within key stakeholder groups
  • Working across all design and delivery partners to produce coherent project outcomes
  • Working across the stakeholder group and up to Director level, visibly owning delivery, change and engagement for the projects
Requirements
  • You must have an excellent track record in project delivery within a similar environment i.e. Waste to Energy, Rail, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Power Sectors
  • Have a thorough understanding of the total project life cycle
  • Possess excellent negotiation skills, able to work with stakeholders to shape the project and proactively solve conflict situations through problem-solving, negotiation, open communication, and direct influencing
  • Have the ability to organise tasks in the right order, to hit the right outcome at the right time through extensive use of MS Project
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of all the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Technical/Engineering experience - preferred Power Generation / Waste processing
  • Have a good working knowledge of Health and Safety
Skills
  • Ideally AMP or Prince2 qualified
  • CDM Awareness is essential
  • Use of mapping software ArcGIS etc would be desirable
  • Proficient in MS Teams and MS Project is essential
  • IOSH Managing Safely would be desirable

  • Salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience
