A well-known manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a Project Finance Analyst to help support a large-scale IT Programme.Role Responsibilities:

Financial performance management including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
Assisting to improve financial processes, procedures, and controls
Ensuring monthly actual reports are generated and accurate
Reconciling actual spend against project finance trackers
Management and confirmation of accruals at month and year end with Finance teams and Project Managers
Resolution of discrepancies and queries with central Finance teams
Tracking and updating of locally managed costs against central project cost tracking
Working closely with Project Managers to provide support on project finance
Preparation of information, dashboards & reports for briefing sessions & project updates

Role Requirements:

Experience of working in a finance function, ideally within a project or change environment
Knowledge of how projects are costed, especially the classification of capex and opex
Management and improvement of Financial Spreadsheets / Models
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
