Magdalene are currently looking to recruita Project Engineerto work on our Mobile projects at our offices in St Ives, Cambridgeshire (flexible). As the Project Engineeryou will be part of our Project Management Officewho are responsiblefor the planningand delivery of a range of telecommunications projects for high profile customers. You will boast excellent co-ordination and clerical skills in order to support the Project Manager and to enable the team to achieve the project deliverables. You will possessthe willingness to learn a range of projects in order to provide the necessary support to our teams. Your duties and responsibilities will be: Assisting the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered in time, within budget and to customer specification.Monitoring and controlling Health & Safety requirements and ensuring that all staff continue to operate in a safe and effective manner. Monitoring all physical installation/decommissioning works within mobile RAN equipment sites. Maintaining project scheduleby monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems; reporting change Providing engineering support to the customer, field resource and project team. Processing customer requests and booking of site surveys Site survey validation RAMSdocumentation validation Validation of site completion documentation and submitting to the customer Tracking of equipment change processes Raising change requests in line with customer processes Reporting of all on-site activities both internally and externallySkills & Knowledge Requirements: Understanding of Radio Access activities Experience of working with hand-over/acceptance documentation Experience of site planning Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of internaland external organisations (Magdalene, customer and suppliers) Good problem-solving skills Experience of managing and driving project progress Excellent team player; cooperative, reliable and able to communicate constructively Objective outlook with the abilityto consider the broader impact decisions Able to take ownership of issues and manage resolution Ability to understand project budget, time and quality delivery Previous experience of deployment of mobile telecoms vendor equipment Previous experience workingon MBNL projects is desirable, but not essential Key Attributes: Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering background Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G Mobile Networks Experience with working with mobile telecoms installations Ability to co-ordinate logistics foron-site installations Ability to respond flexibly and effectively to change About The Company Why choose us We promise development and reward opportunities for those who have the passion, enthusiasm and work ethic to harness them.
