Project Engineer - Renewables Salary - Up to £80KLocation - LondonPermanent Essential:

Experience with grid connection tools up to 33 kV, renewable energy experience, and grid connection applications
Knowledge of creating and managing electrical design specifics
Software for electrical design (Amtech, ETAP)
Comprehensive understanding of legal requirements, technical standards, guidelines, and procedures
Expertise in complex electrical systems and electrical engineering
HND in electrical engineering or degree
Capacity for analytical investigation in challenging environments
High honesty and meticulousness required to deliver accurate solutions, establish and uphold credibility
Must be client-facing
Capability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
A valid drivers licence

Desirable:

Specialised knowledge of battery storage
Working knowledge of electrical systems related to grid-connected battery storage systems
Experience with designing and developing SCADA Control Systems
Knowledge of energy modelling, project feasibility development, and management
Development of renewable energy projects (Planning, Grid applications)
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy / Power Systems Engineering
Experience working with / for DNOs, IDNOs or Renewable Energy Developers

The ideal candidate:

Previous experience working with HV Site / Subcontractor Management
Experience working as an Electrical Engineer
Strong H&S knowledge
Experience in Battery Storage and Grid connections / applications is advantageous
