Job Description

Join us as a Project Delivery Manager

  • This is an opportunity for a driven Project Manager to join our agile mission team, which is focused on helping Mettle bring our BaaS product to market.

What youll doIn your new role, youll prepare, manage and provide reporting on all project plans, controls and resource plans. Youll make sure that activities are in place to adequately prepare the business and engage all the appropriate stakeholders effectively to enablechange to be implemented and handed over. Youll work closely with the product engineering squads, including Security, Data, Risk and others to create and manage project plans for implementing new functionality. Youll also be responsible for managing dependencies, project governance and reporting. Youll also:
  • Remove cross-team obstacles and blockers to enable efficient delivery,, proactively managing dependencies and get the best value against constraints
  • Own and manage internal / or third party implementation plans and delivery risks
  • Work with teams to take a continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, metrics and measurements
  • Coach teams to become better at autonomously organising and sharing their work
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques for the teams environment
  • Assist the leadership team with regular data driven status reporting
The skills youll needYoull have experience working within a delivery function, focussed on ensuring the timely delivery of programmes. Youll also need:
  • Experience in software delivery
  • The ability to lead by example and demonstrate best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently to move the programme forward
