Job Description

We are currently seeking an On-site Project Coordinator to join a well-established, family-run SME. This varied and multi-task role supports the Project Team by being the eyes and ears on the ground, helping to ensure that jobs run efficientlyand to schedule whilst ensuring high levels of Health and Safety are observed, all site documentation is in place, and product and install quality is maintained. The ideal candidate will be within easy commuting distance of central London, will be coveringmultiple sites in and around London, and will be able to work from home or remote location if required.You will be a point of contact for all stakeholders, taking and resolving queries and documenting changes related to the project, covering the following requirements across multiple projects:Key duties and responsibilities....

  • Face to Face customer liaison throughout all contracts
  • Site surveys and measuring
  • Assistance with design/detail queries, especially where on-site resolution is required
  • Attendance at site meetings as required, both prior to start on site, and during installation
  • Regular site progress monitoring, both prior to, and during installation
  • Liaising with the Project Team regarding individual install team schedules
  • Weekly reporting on projects as required (progress reports, H&S reports, etc.)
  • Maintaining quality of installation on site
  • Maintaining a high standard of H&S on site
  • Ensuring timely remedial of snagging works
  • Advising of onsite requirements to ensure timely purchasing of consumable goods and labour for project-specific requirements so that lead times are adhered to
  • Help ensure that all customers receive an exceptional level of service from the team throughout the contract cycle
  • Tracking and documentation of site instructions throughout the project
  • Checking and signing off of product as received on site
  • Support the Project Team in any way required by being the boots on the ground
  • You will be a point of contact for all stakeholders, taking and resolving queries and documenting changes related to the project.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform to deadlines both for colleagues and customers
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects at once with conflicting priorities
  • Flexible, can-do attitude to achieve short notice requirements and turnarounds, delivering excellent service to our customers
  • Strong H&S awareness and compliance
  • Experience in a project team
  • Knowledge and experience of sub-contract work extremely beneficial
  • Experience in the door set / joinery sector extremely beneficial
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification highly desirable
  • CSCS Card required
  • Previous experience in construction industry essential, especially with main contractors & fit-out contracts
Hours: Full Time, 45 hrs per week (flexible start / finish times depending on projects)Benefits
  • £37,000 - £45,000 (negotiable dependant on experience)
  • Travel expenses paid
