Job Description

A leading Insurer is URGENTLY looking to hire a Project Co-ordinator for their Change function. The role is to support Project Managers who are managing the delivery of two key projects/programmes in the portfolio. This contract will be for an initial 6 months.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Production of meeting agendas, steering committee papers, collation of working group presentation material and minutes
  • Booking of workshops and meetings
  • Supporting and contributing to project cost management including timely tracking of time spent against forecast and managing tracking of invoices
  • Supporting PM to deliver against PMO activities, including document sign off, communications plan, project deliverables (MOP, plan on a page, Tampa and other project artefacts)
  • To act as the communications hub for the project team, communicating with stakeholders and project team members
  • Work with the Project leads to identify and to mitigate any stakeholder concerns and risks
  • Managing updates to plan, RAID logs, dependencies and other key project artefacts
  • Managing project/programme SharePoint/Teams document repository
  • Supporting the production of bi-weekly status reporting
  • Collecting and curating content for SteerCo/Business owners
  • KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Insurance experience is preferred, not essential
  • Experience working in projects or change related activities
  • Able to confidently multi-task and prioritise
  • Confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Stakeholders and project leads will come from various business or technical backgrounds so the individual will need to be able to tailor their engagement style and work practices to the audience when going about their duties.
  • Strong PowerPoint and excel skills
  • Microsoft Project and other planning tools
  • Good knowledge of standard project governance
  • Conscious with high attention to detail
