Programme Operations Director - England’s Largest Social Work CharityAre you an ambitious and commercially experienced leader with a passion for driving change Are you experienced in relationship management, new business development, and operational excellence If so, come and join our team as a Programme Operations Director!Salary: £76,727.80 (£80,000 inclusive of London weighting) plus competitive pensionLocation: Flexible - regular travel required to London officeDeadline: Midnight on 21 September 2023A little bit about the roleThe Programme Operations Director is responsible for the teams that:- secure applications to all of our programmes- manage the local authority partnerships required to underpin the demand for places, and- manage the effective planning and programme management required to successfully deliver our programmes.The role sits within the senior leadership team, and is responsible for driving performance and operational excellence, with a focus on programme quality and impact. The successful candidate will be accountable for securing deep, strategic long-term partnershipswith local authorities across England, leading teams to deliver work to an excellent level, driving improvements and meeting annual targets across all areas.A little bit about youWe’re looking for a skilled, forward-thinking leader with demonstrable experience of running large scale, complex operations across teams in various locations. You will need to have significant experience in successfully recruiting, managing and developingmanagers and leaders to deliver on demanding targets.To be successful in this role you will need:- Outstanding relationship, influencing and people management expertise- Expertise in driving improvements in quality and performance at scale- Experience of setting and managing budgets of £1m+- To be a great communicator who brings others with them and can clearly articulate the rationale for decision makingYou do not need to have experience with the social work sector, but you’ll need to be willing to learn about children’s social work and Frontline’s role in improving the system.We have increased the diversity of Frontline’s workforce in the last 12 months, but we need to do more to have greater racialised minority representation at senior level.
