Our client is a small, dynamic city-based team dedicated to promoting the understanding and use of statistics for the public good. They are currently working on a brand new programme with a focus on Data Science, the contribution of statistics to the world of Data Science as well as reviewing and expanding the range of services that they are offering to their members involved in this sector. To help deliver these plans, we are looking to recruit a project manager who can work with data science experts and external partners to scope, plan, and launch new programmes. The team are highly motivated, focused and have had incredible success recently with their strategies for growing and engaging its membership and volunteers as well as working on a programme of public training courses.Who are youYouareideally in programme management or a programme design role, looking for a dynamic position with room to develop and grow. You are a self-starter and have a desireto workcollaborativelyas well asmanagingyour ownworkload.You enjoy working with partners to design new programmes and have the determination and organisation to put your designs into action. Whilst you will be an integral part of the membership team with some support from team administrators, you will often be working autonomously, including with senior stakeholders.Our ideal candidate will have a high degree ofenthusiasm,initiative and judgement and an interest in the field of data science.The roleBased within the membership team you will be working with the Head of Professional Standards & Accreditation to develop and implement different working practices and member services around a key strategy area; data science, including the development of a new data science certificate.The role will predominantly involve you working closely with an internal taskforce and the C-Suite to develop and implement new programmes to support and promote data science.
