Job Description

Programme Manager - MarketRisk - Retail BankingJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced resource to join and support one of our Banking clients (a Leading UK bank) as a Program Manager for it’s Analytics divisionRoles & ResponsibilitiesAs our program, manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that entire program/project is delivered on time and produces the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.Specific responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to, developing detailed project plans,ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projectsare deliveredon-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuringtechnical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management tominimizeproject risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Essential Skills:The candidate is expected to have a background in Analytics, team management, budgeting and analysis. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. you also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
  • 10-15 years PM experience in Banking, preferably with a Market Risk background
  • Strong experience working on building new methodologies for Market Risk
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Proven ability to direct, organise and lead a group of diverse stakeholders across technical and business areas
  • Excellent client-facing and internalcommunication skills
