TheRole: Our Customer Experience function plays a key role in delivering our vision. Our goal is to understand our customers in order to deliver the changes that matter to them whilst optimising business performance. Working with key stakeholders across the business,this newly created and high-profile role will be responsible for delivering two of our largest change programmes; one focussed on voice of the customer, and the other on delivering improvements for vulnerable customers. Both of these programmes cut acrosspeople, process & systems so were looking for a rounded change delivery manager who can connect the dots and lead us to success. Whilst these initiatives do have technical elements, they are not pure IT projects and as such we are looking for candidates whohave experience leading & delivering multi-faceted change, including into operational teams. To be successful in this unique opportunity youll also need to think both strategically but equally comfortable managing detailed delivery plans. Youll also needto understand the challenges of, and likely be experienced in, large and complex organisations. Manager or Expert: For people managers, accountable for managing and motivating others to ensure quality of delivery to customers and stakeholders For technicalspecialists, accountable for delivering expert advice or service, using specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost and riskManages conflicts that may impact delivery Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output Managesresources and risks using expert judgment, know-how and experience Key accountabilities for this role: Establish clear programme vision & plan s including the identification and phasing of workstreams and initiatives. Establish robust programme governanceto support effective decision making & drive momentum Facilitate planning sessions with cross-functional teams to identify and scope out solutions to people, process or systems. Manage delivery plans, c o-ordinat ing delivery teams and stakeholders to ensuretimely progress against the plan . Identify delivery risks, issues & dependencies and work with stakeholders to agree suitable actions, including escalation where needed . Manage programme financials, including developing project/initiative budgets and managingrequests for funding. Key knowledge, skills & experience: Experience of running projects from their conception to their delivery, including project planning, development , delivery and benefit realisation . (essential) E xperience in programme/project managementwithin a mid-large sized organisation (essential) Experience of delivering projects across people, process & systems , including front-line operational teams . (essential) Excellent leadership & influencing skills, able to create an aligned ambition withincolleagues to deliver against a common vision.
