Job Description

Were now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possibleBecoming a Programme Manager with Capita - CLCH Partnership Location: London, Gresham StreetSalary: competitiveContract: Permanent, full-timeThe Partnership between Capita and Central London Community Healthcare trust (CLCH) delivers a range of core support services on behalf of the Trust, including HR, Estates & Facilities, IM&T and Finance. The partnership will provide effective and efficient corporate support to help protect investment in frontline services & allow clinical teams to focus on providing the best possible care for patients.We are now seeking an experienced Programme Manager who will be responsible for leading & managing the setting-up of the programme through to delivery of the new capabilities, realisation of benefits and programme closure. Responsible for successful delivery of the new capabilities, establishing governance.You will already have experience working within a Programme function at a senior level, ideally with a background in healthcare or local government, and will use your skills to drive the delivery of projects which will include the implementation of new technology platforms, changing existing platforms and developing the CLCH property portfolio.What youll be doing:

  • Day-to-day management of the programme, including taking the programme forward from appointment (usually in Identifying a Programme or Defining a Programme), and supervising, controlling and closing the programme
  • Being the day-to-day agent on behalf of the SRO, ensuring successful delivery of the new capability
  • Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues, initiating corrective action as appropriate
  • Developing and implementing the programmes governance framework
  • Managing the programmes budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs against benefits as the programme progresses
  • Ensuring that the delivery of outputs or services from the projects meets programme requirements in line with the programme blueprint and projects dossier, and is to the appropriate quality, on time & within budget
  • Facilitate the development of the blueprint with input and approval of the BCMs
  • Managing the blueprint and ensuring that the capabilities delivered are aligned with it, performance of the programme team, internal and external suppliers to the programme communications with stakeholders
  • What were looking for:Youll offer demonstrable experience as a head of programmes / director delivering customer facing programmes or projects at a senior level in a matrix organisation, with practises including risk, financial, change implementation, and benefits realisation management. Ideally, youll come from a digital, technology or consultancy background and have specific domain knowledge in the Local Government or Healthcare Sector.Youll demonstrate:
  • Experience or understanding of delivering technological or property solutions
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Key leadership skills; knowledge and experience of leading a diverse team
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate across all business levels to achieve results
  • Commercial awareness and business-orientated approach.
  • Professional project or programme management qualification (APM, MSP, Prince2)
