Job Description

The Royal Society is the independent scientific academy of the UK, dedicated to promoting excellence in science. It is a self-governing Fellowship of many of the worlds most distinguished scientists drawn from all areas of science, engineering and medicine.Thepost holder will be responsible for the strong, coherent management of the Africa Capacity Building Initiative, comprising a portfolio of 10 international research consortia grants, focussed on capacity strengthening in sub-Saharan Africa through a partnershipbetween the Royal Society and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
