Job Description

Programme Manager - IT and ChangeCity of London£80,000 per annumThe Role:Picture More are currently working with a global law firm based in the City to recruit a Programme Manager to working within the firms PMO to be at the forefront of the delivery of IT and Change Projects within the firm.Your key responsibilities will be divided into planning, business engagement, governance and reporting.Planning;

  • You will be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the IT Programme and Project and its progress.
  • You will be managing the programmes budget for the PMO which includes reviewing and tracking expenditure.
  • You will be working with and facilitating appointments between individual project teams.
    • Business Engagement;
  • You will working and communicating with internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Management of numerous third parties who are working across the programme.
    • Governance;
  • Working with the numerous IT Project resources to ensure work allocation is completed across the programme
  • You will be responsible for clear definition of the programme’s governance arrangements.
    • Reporting;
  • Working with the IT leadership team to report and monitor IT programme progress at regular scheduled intervals
  • Working with Business Analysts within the IT Programme to ensure the requirements are continually being met throughout and plans are kept on track.
    • What is needed from you
  • Demonstratable experience of the delivery of an IT Programme within a professional services organization - ideally within the legal sector
  • Confidence in working within an Application Deployment, Upgrade and rollout - ideally a Case Management System (MatterSphere, Axxia or VisualFiles).
  • High level of knowledge of the delivery of IT projects using Prince 2 and MSP methods.
  • Ability to effectively plan, monitor and control IT Programmes using several methods and techniques.
  • Confidence in engaging and negotiating with potential and existing third party providers within an IT Programme.
