Job Description

Signature Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to join our client, a prestigious London University, on a full time, temporary basis as a Programme Administrator!This role will suit someone who has worked within Higher Education in a similar role and has experience communicating with both students and academics, using VLE systems and is able to effectively prioritise and manage their time. If you possess these skills, then please read on!Programme Administrator Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the shared inbox and responding to enquiries from students, teaching and support staff
  • Coordinating content for the student bulletin
  • Supporting the planning of start of term activities
  • Liaising with the colleagues involved in the delivery of the start of term activities
  • Creating schedules, programme of events, packs, signage and posters and booking rooms
  • Scheduling Microsoft Teams and Zoom events and meetings and for student group channels, including creating virtual break out rooms
  • Supporting the set-up of folders and other content on Blackboard Learn and uploading e-materials
  • Coordinate the preparation of template emails/letters/guidance documents
  • Setting up and maintaining electronic filing systems
  • Preparing of schedules, timelines and student timetables
  • Programme Administrator Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working within Higher Education
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Pro-active and able to work in an autonomous way, knowing when to ask for guidance
  • Advanced user of MS packages i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with setting up meetings, groups, channels and running events/webinars using MS Teams/Zoom and other conferencing software
